Damian Nam
Physiotherapist/ Director
Born in South Korea, my family moved to New Zealand when I was 8 years old. I grew up on the North Shore and have lived here ever since.
With great passion in fitness and martial arts, I started Taekwondo and weight training at the age of 14. I have since moved onto a different form of martial arts in Brazilian jiu-jitsu and other forms of fitness however my passion has remained the same.
I decided to study physiotherapy once I left high school as the human body has always intrigued me and also as it was related to my passion. Unfortunately due to the nature of my activities, I have dealt with a lot of injuries myself. This first hand experience has helped me to learn the tried and tested way of rehabilitation.
I am a strong believer in being a practitioner over a theorist. Research and theories are very important however I see too many health professionals not practicing what they preach. The treatment you will receive from me is based off tested theories and experiences, as well as theories based from the latest research.
I look forward to working with you to help you get back to your optimal best.
